Superstar sex symbol Prince refused to make love to his delectable under-age girlfriend until she turned 18, even though they slept in the same bed.
Stunning Anna Garcia, who began sleeping with Prince when she was 17, was shocked and frustrated when he refused even to remove his pyjamas and bed socks when they slept together for four long months.
He made me wait until I was practically eating the sheets with frustration,” says Anna, who was born in Holland. In the end I was getting up fed up with waiting. It was nail-biting.
“So I tried to seduce him. I told him, “I’m ready. I don’t want it to be a moment longer, please make love to me. But he refused – in fact, he made me feel bad for trying and told me, ‘Don’t spoil everything.”
They slept together for four months before Prince would even consent to take off his pyjamas and bed socks. He said she should never see him naked.
But 32-year-old Prince finally took pity on the poor girl and did the right thing. “When the moment finally came – on the night of my 18th birthday – it was perfect, well worth the wait,” says Anna.
But even then, he couldn’t resist keeping her waiting a while. “He casually announced, ‘I’m just popping around to the studio for a while.’ I sat in bed waiting for him and chewing my nails until he returned half an hour later.
“When he finally got into bed – without his pyjamas this time – and began kissing me I knew everything was going to be fine,” she adds.
His kisses were different than before and slowly he stroked me, calmed me and aroused me, and we made love. He’d promised me that my first time would be special and it was magical. It was magical: Sensual, slow and super romantic.
“We made love all night, and almost almost all the next day. I could have stayed in his arms forever. Nothing will ever compare to that wonderful night. It was sensational.
When Anna’s birthday came on December 31, she was at home in Holland with her family. “At eight on the morning of by birthday, Prince’s bodyguard phoned and told me to get on a plane to America, “ she recalls.
“Prince was waiting in the kitchen with a birthday cake that said, ‘Happy Birthday, Lovelorn,’ and 18 candles.
“Then he slyly presented me with a beautiful pink cashmere coat with black mink cuffs and collar, plus a whole wardrobe of clothes he’d had designed and specially made.
“He also gave me a gold-and-diamond cross on a chain just like his.”
But their romance came to an end after she posed nude for Playboy.
He told her, “They’ll say Prince’s girl is a Playboy model. You can’t be in Playboy and with me.

The model, who already had a record deal of her own in Germany, was given VIP
access by his crew and invited to an after-party at a nightclub where she
caught the eye of Prince, then in his late twenties.
“He was the perfect gentleman and nothing happened. In fact he insisted I put
on a pair of his pyjamas.
“They were gold and cream satin. I remember laughing as they were so shiny
that I slid around in the bed.
“When we met I’d lied and told him that I was actually 18 so he had no idea
how young I actually was.
“The next morning we had breakfast in the room. He gave me a yellow rose and I
gave him my number.
“I really liked him, but saw him as a person, not as Prince. We talked and we
laughed. It was so much fun.”
The following summer, when she was 17 years old, Anna joined Prince in Germany
after doing a shoot for the country’s edition of Playboy.
Prince then flew her to Denmark but told her over ice cream that he did not
approve of the nude shoot — even before it had been published.
Anna, real surname Garcia, said: “Suddenly he said, ‘I never thought I’d be
eating with a Playboy Bunny.’
“He told me, ‘You should not have done that. No girlfriend of mine is going to
be in Playboy’. It was such a nice surprise to hear him say I was his
girlfriend.”
Anna said Prince’s lawyers even wrote to Playboy in a bid to stop them
publishing the sexy pictures.
In the autumn of 1988 Anna, who was given her second name “Fantastic” by
Prince, began flying to the US to meet him — going to his Paisley Park home
for the first time.
She said: “We kissed a lot but it was very innocent. I was completely in love
with him. He’d call his hair stylist to come over and we’d get our hair done
together in the salon in the basement area of the house.”
On her 18th birthday in December 1988, Prince rang Anna at her mum’s home and
told her to go to Heathrow as she had to spend her birthday with him. When
she landed in Minneapolis his security team whisked her to Paisley Park.
She said: “I walked in and the lights were down low.
“There was a birthday cake in the kitchen with 18 lit candles that said ‘Happy
Birthday Lovelorn’ — something he had called me once when I told him I
missed him.
Prince wowed her by giving her a gold and diamond encrusted necklace. He
followed that up by giving her a closet of clothes made by his own wardrobe
specialists.
Anna said: “It all fit perfectly. I was blown away.” Prince also gave her a
recording of a birthday song titled Anna Waiting which he went on to record
as Vicki Waiting.
The pair spent the night together and had sex for the first time. Anna said:
“It was a very sweet night. He was very romantic and would always say the
most perfect thing.”

Anna’s 18th birthday, Prince gave her a pink cashmere coat, thus leading to the song “Pink Cashmere” that would be released in 1993. Anna inspired the songs “Vicki Waiting” (an 18th-birthday gift for Anna, originally titled “Anna Waiting”) and “Lemon Crush” (her favorite drink) on Prince’s Batman soundtrack from 1989. She also wrote the song “Fantasia Erotica,” which resurfaced on Carmen Electra’s debut album in 1992.
